    Manatea time!

Yes, you can. I have the Tea-Rex on my desk. I don’t actually use him; he is on top of my wall, chained to a pin in the bulletin board below him (to keep people safe, of course, or perhaps to keep him from falling over since he can’t actually stand on his own 😉 ).

        The link gives me this:

“Your search manatee tea infuser did not match any products.”

Hmm. It worked for me. I’m in the US. Is it possible that you are not, and that caused the blip?

You might try alternate spelling ‘Manatea’ (the brand name).

I tried posting the full link that worked for me (U.S.), but it was super long & I couldn’t get it to post.

Yes, but that would probably break Mike’s affiliate link.

Yes – I always start with Mike’s link (toward bottom of this page) then do my search.

If the link contains the string ‘nothmithotmi’ I believe that’s Amazon’s code for “Not That Mike the Other Mike” (the first two letters of each word) so that he gets credited.

I am grateful to live in a world that includes manatees: those prehistoric-looking swimming rocks. Underwater Eeyores. Ocean sloths.

I LOVE “underwater Eeyores”! I remember the first time I saw a manatee, it was in an aquarium, and it was eating heads of lettuce. Talk about gentle giants – and blorpy to the max. (autocorrect wanted me to say “eyesores”!!!) We have a little stuffed animal manatee named Hugh.

      Sea potatoes!

Sea potatoes!! That’s a great one!!!!

          The “eyes” have it!!!

Now I need a Mana-TEE to go with my #TeamFiona sweatshirt. Maybe it could feature the rainbow fellow from above?

    • Smartypants March 29, 2017 / 4:23 pm

They are very Fiona-like, aren’t they?

No clever comments needed about these lovely, blorpy creatures, Mike! They stand on their own, so to speak!

Living in Florida, we’ve been able to see these big babies in several places. A wildlife refuge not too far from where we live has a viewing platform built where they congregate. There are also many places around power stations that they congregate because of the warm water produced there, especially in winter. But power boats are a hazard to them as people sometimes don’t adhere to the rules to go very slow thru the areas known to harbor them. Speed boats maim and kill!! Fortunately the breed numbers are on the rise because of all the people who love and look out for them and provide what they need to keep them safe.
