Hana looks like one of those Beanie Boo dolls with the giant eyes…except not so creepy as when there’s a whole rack of ’em staring at you at the bookstore.

I know what you mean, I have a plush orange cat with big eyes like Hana that someone gave me mistakenly thinking it was Garfield!

I have the Chihuahua plush which a friend gave me. He stares at me from the back of my cubicle. 😉

My cube just has a plastic skull that wears a variety of seasonal hats.

I have several animals (either given to me by friends or acquired from work in one way or another): a handful of Chihuahuas, a German Shepherd, Skippy Jon Jones, a pink owl, a beanbag duck, a polar bear wearing a blue scarf (he guards my stress ball), Grumpy Cat, a marble turtle paperweight that a friend brought back from a vacation as thanks for checking her mail, a Tea Rex, a walrus, Minion Stuart, Charles Dickens, Edgar Allan Poe, and a couple aliens. Plus a bunch of old Cute Overload calendar pages, some Grumpy cat calendar pages, various other cute pictures, including of Pablo and Stars & Stripes (the kitties), and other random funny quotes and whatnot. Plus some papers pertinent to my job.

I really need to clean up my desk.

You really do, if you don’t you’ll end up like me, it took me a month to clear up my cubicle when I retired. It’s still all in boxes in the basement but I will go through it this Spring I swear LOL!!!!

What a nice company, you have there, Allein.
I would be glad to work together with EAP, Tea Rex 🙂 , and a polar bear with a blue scarf!

I dont have anything personal, if I ever get fired, 10 minutes and I will be out.

I was thinking she looks like a Pokemon.

I don’t like weddings, but I would gladly catch that yellow pup!

I have never believed in catching bouquets, but on the last wedding before my own the bouquet hit me on the head 🙁 It seems it works that way as well.

You know that old joke about women fighting each other for the bouquet? Didn’t happen that way at my sister’s wedding (30+ years ago). We single ladies huddled together; her throw was a bit short and the bouquet hit the floor several feet in front of us. And for a few seconds we all just stood there and looked at it. It was definitely a case of “I’M not gonna pick it up–YOU pick it up.” So I shoved my new brother-in-law’s sister forward, and she picked it up. PHEW! Dodged that bullet!

My mother was scandalized, but I thought it was hilarious.

Haha at least your sister found the general direction, even if the throw was short 🙂
In my case, I wasn’t even among the single ladies who actually wanted to catch the bouquet, I was chatting with someone a few meters away on the pavement facing another direction when an unexpected bouquet redesigned my hair style 🙂
I did not blame her though, it was her first wedding 🙂

The puppy rescue was 16 minutes of on the edge of your seat video. The rescuer who went into the caves was so brave, patient, and skilled. I was in tears the whole time.

Hope For Paws youtube channel has TONNES of awesome edge-of-your-seat rescue videos. They do amazing work catching dogs that no one else can catch. His videos regularly bring me to tears when you see how happy and transformed the rescued dogs are after their time on the streets (or in a cave).

“Not That Hana The Other Hana”

    NOMTOM, you slay me!

    • DebG April 5, 2017 / 10:40 am

That one cracked me up too!

Love the parrot kissing the vase – so cute. Wonder why that darling boid has been plucking its feathers out – he’s otherwise the spitting image of my Merlin.

  6. Brouhaha April 5, 2017 / 9:40 am

I wonder if Hana can breathe through that tiny lil nose of hers.

Loved these linkies! And the bridesmaids don’t even have to ‘shop in the “bouquet” tosses with cats!

The foster dad cat reminds me of my darling Mr. Tibbles, who died last August. He was such a great mommy to every new cat I brought home.

I couldn’t help it, during the rescue I made a shushing sound for each crying puppy but my favorite was the little runt who didn’t cry, I would so adopt him if I could. I guess that being a runt myself as a rather scrawny sickly child, I’ve always had a soft spot for them.

Now, that’s a wedding I wouldn’t mind attending! Think of all the don’t-want-to-but-have-to-attend celebrations/events that would be improved by the addition of puppies! Did wonder why what-look-like purebred Labradors need rescue-adopting…

One interesting thing I’ve noticed about the articles in links:

‘Where?’ is one of the important W5s of journalism. So often, I search in vain for the answer to ‘so, where is this, now?’ Had to follow another link to discover ‘oh, okay, LA’.

The People site is fairly awful, isn’t it? We haven’t come all *that* far from your throwback April 1 entry, Mike! The visual mess just has different goals now.

What? This *is* my happy voice!
