“Goot eeeeev-ning, and welcome to another episode of Hamster Horror Theater. I’m your host, the Crypt Sweeper, bringing you tonight’s chilling feature: a tale of terror titled Zombie Cats from Mars. Watch this one with the lights out (heh, heh) — eef you dare.”
Melodie writes: “I brought home a new little baby yesterday! Beta is an eight week old Russian Campbell’s Dwarf, or RCD as we call them in the hamster community. ? She is absolutely TINY (that’s a regular size mug in the picture, for scale), and hopefully cute enough or the citizens of Cuteropolis!”
Is that what that kitty was hiding from a week or so ago?
I want to boop the teeny nose with my pinkie.
Beta is definately cute enouf for us fans of Cutetroplis. I think if you blink, you might miss seeing her. Luv the leetle paws. I take it she won’t get much bigger.
She will, but probably not much. She’s my first dwarf hamster, so I’m not totally sure what to expect ether 🙂
sweet little grey morsel of ham!
I agree with Luv Bunny–we welcome Beta with open arms. What a pretty little hammie.
Why thank you 🙂
Definitely cute enough for us Cutetropolitans. Cute enough to knock me ded…
Yes, it was the leetle hands what did it…
Adorable hammie! Oh yes, I agree, the leetle hands are killers. Want to plant a kiss between the leetle earsies. I bet she feels so soft and silky. 😀
I have not been able to hold her yet, so your guess is as good as mine. She does look pretty soft though 😀
Congratulations Melodie – she is lovely!
Thanks 😀
I had a Syrian hamster way back in the stone age when I was a kid. My brother brought him home from school. The class hamster had babies. So we had a baby hamster and kid me didn’t know anything about hamster care.
So yes, baby hams are really soft and thankfully our Charlie was a resilient little guy that could handle being pawed at my inexperienced children.
Aww! We took care of the school’s kangaroo rat one summer – he was pretty cool. If I remember right, k/rats are so acclimated to desert living that they never drink water – they’ve evolved to get all their H20 from food.
Hamsters are so cute! And your little one is no exception! Congratulations!!????
supper… man
