This post wins for highest ratio of LOL to number of words in text. Mike – kudos for displaying your mastery of the short scroll down!!

Since they are in a bowl I’m allowed to nibble on the yummy puppy ears, right?

Ooooh, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

Does anybody else have Verizon? Any idea what might happen when they finalize the email shift to AOL? I’m wondering if it will materially affect access to this page.

I wouldn’t expect any change to your email setup to affect your ability to view web pages, since those are separate things.

Also, unless Verizon plans to change your email address as part of the shift, you should not need to change any subscriptions you might have to this or other websites.

AOL published an article that explains some of the changes Verizon users may experience.

Thanks for sending that, Mike. Sadly, I haven’t a clue what it means, so I’ll have to get someone to help me figure it out. I wish the verbiage they use was clearer to me – they talk about “third party” and I am in the dark, right off the bat. If there’s a third party, who are Party 1 and Party 2? One longs to know. anyway, I guess I’ll settle it all at some point.

PS my name and email have been showing up in the “post comment” section after not doing so for a while.

3rd Party refers to other applications through which you might read your mail (as opposed to directly on the provider’s site), like Outlook or an email app on your phone. I assume parties 1 and 2 would be you and Verizon.

My Verizon email seems to have disappeared (it was through my dad’s Verizon account). I switched to gmail for my primary account a couple years ago, so anything on the Verizon email should have been junk, anyway. But I followed the instructions I found on the AOL site and it doesn’t recognize my address/password. I hadn’t checked it in so long I may have missed any notification about the move. Oh, well.
