They’re a Perfect Fit, Really

Oh yes, those shoes look great on you, really. They look great on you. And they’re such a good fit. And very stylish. So you don’t need to put them back in the box. Trust me.

Oh, don’t worry about the arches. Your feet will adapt eventually.

Cat boxes just come with shoes in them to keep the box from getting crushed. Right?

Well, of course!!! Most boxes arrived filled with stuff for that reason – unless you are unlucky enough to be without a cat, in which case it is advisable to fix the problem as soon as possible.

Yes – some stores include fancier stuffing than others, but the box is the essential part.

Obviously, I fits, so you know what happens next.

And like Cinderella’s stepsisters, if it doesn’t fit, I will make it fit by any means necessary.

I dare you to try to take back this box!

I’m not convinced that the shoebox was fully empty before I. Fitz climbed in. There appears to be a shoelace hanging out of the box on the right side of the picture…

Yes and there is something red at the bottom of the box on the left of the cat’s head.

How could you possibly put your shoes back in the box – even if they don’t fit!! That box is no longer yours ;).

This is the exact reason that you only see store cats at flower shops and bodegas…and not at shoe stores.
