Friendship Made from Scratch

The key to maintaining a successful relationship with a human is a balanced give and take. You scratch my belly, I scratch whatever you call that thing attached to your face.

That is one blissed-out doggie. I think he’s getting the better end of the scratching deal, though.

Speaking of relationships with your human…has anyone seen the commercials for the new show Downward Dog? I think I need to watch it.

I’ve got it on my list to add to my DVR. Wonder who got the ‘talking’ dog part. That would be fun to do.

I love seeing pictures of big strong men fussing over sweet puppers or kitties!

Especially if the pup is a doxie! And a long-haired doxie at that! Sigh.

Two red heads ?. My red Chiweenie does the exact same thing with her paws when she wants attention.

Sophie does this to me all the time. Today I helped untangle her from a blanket, and she was so grateful, she plopped down on her back and offered me her belly to scratch. It was like “Thank you for freeing me, as your reward, I will allow you to rub my belly”
