It is a magazine that has pictures of women that don’t leave anything to the imagination. It also has articles. Hence the joke, “I read it for the articles.”
Their ‘mascot’ is the playboy bunny. -scantily clad women highlighting their feminine bits while wearing bunny ears and a cotton tail.
I know an innocent friend that was happy to have found a cute pair of bunny earrings. I tried as gently as I could to encourage her to wear different earrings.
