Obscure “Dick Tracy” Villians

From 1931 until 1977, cartoonist Chester Gould populated the world of “Dick Tracy” with a bizarre array of oddly-shaped mugs, thugs, and assorted ne’er-do-wells. Although many became series staples, a few appeared only once before being dropped, such as stylish mob enforcer Carmine “Can Opener” Carmello.

Ya better squeal, see, or I’ll puncture ya!

I wanna know what hair products he uses to get that superb coiffure.

I remember that movie: The Two Faces Of Fido.

Sorry to say (not really) butt it looks as if the back end of the dog is bent over sniffing around like it’s the front end. So to me I see a really artistic butt poking up on display to the camera. Cannot be unseen.

I did not see it, but now I can’t not see it.
(Even though it’s a guinea peeg.)

        I thought it was a dog. Still….?

Full disclosure, I wasn’t completely sure what he was until I hovered over the Bored Panda link and saw “/long-haired-guinea-pigs/.”

D’aww, who’s a big scary crime kingpin? You are!

…and if he tires of the Dick Tracy gig, he could get a role in a Dr. Seuss animated special.

Where are the eyes? What did they do with it’s eyes? ARRRRG!!!

Seriously it’s kind is kind of freaky looking, it looks like one of those blind mole critter. I don’t like things without eyes, things without eyes are always evil in movies ::shudder::

One eye is on the side to the right of the nose; you can see the space in the fur where it is. At least I think so. 😉

Yes – if you picture the nostril as the center of a clock face, and the mouth is 6 o’clock, then the eye is 3 o’clock (in shadow).

They’re so much more evil when they’re villians and not villains.

The Dick Tracy reference is priceless. And dead on.

No fair, that critter has better (if weirder) hair than I do!
