Links: At Last, an Answer to the Vexing Riddle of Our Times

And finally: A Rescue of the Heart

When rescuers took in an elderly cat with kidney disease, he adapted well to home life. But nothing prepared his new owners for what happened when two foster kittens joined the home.

What a wonderful retirement for Mason! He looks so happy and content with the babies. The folks who took him in are absolute angels.

Those are the TinyKittens folks, who have a real-time Youtube channel showing all their kittens. I have them on all the time, because I need kittens all the time.

I call Matchinks on Mason and the darker kitten. Their faces have very similar coloring, with the white around the eyes, nose & mouth. So sweet at the end of the video when Mason lays his head down on the kitten!

I love the little marmie hugging Mason. That little paw reaching around his neck as he snuggles in killed me.

Also when he sticks his whole face in Mason’s ear. 😛

            Kittens: “We can haz grandpa?”

        Who doesn’t? 🙂

I think that I just spontaneously ovulated while watching that video.

What I love the most about the “Service Dog in the Yearbook” article is that the dog, Soldier, is not listed after his service human, Kathryn. Soldier is shown in alphabetical order, just like a human.

I wish the human’s name was Abigail and the dog’s name was Zorro and there was a “William Campbell” and for the next 4 years William would have to explain why there is a dog next to him in the yearbook.

      I didn’t even notice that!

Now that you mention it, Alpha in the link I posted is also in alphabetical order (though that still puts him next to his human, Andrew. But Alpha is first). 🙂

    Oof. All the heart tugs.
And the snook just wants the warms.

That danger noodle doesn’t look particularly threatening.

Maybe he’s just trying to protect his person from the health effects of all the sodium in those noodles…

I love all of these. I feel I should specifically say that snake is adorable. Mmm, warm bowl to curl up around!

And how can you go wrong with a hot guy who likes cats?

    • Kar May 26, 2017 / 3:27 pm

Especially when they have trouble keeping their shirts on!

Awesome links, beautiful kittens, even that white snake is cute 🙂

As a guy, having a kitten as your wingman sounds like a great idea. Even if the date doesn’t work out, you’ve still got a kitten! Win-win!

Yes, any time you’re paired up with a squee baby animal, it’s hard to go wrong! 😀

Danger noodle is adorable! I assumed he wanted the warms, but the bowl still seems to have its shrink wrap on – maybe he likes it because it’s round, or he’s sheltering under the edge? Or some snake thing we can’t perceive, like texture/smell?

Love the grandpa cat with kittens so much!

And that wonderful kitten rescue in Peru! Honestly, all these stories today have just about made my heart burst with happiness at the sweet animals and humans!
