“Sure, cracking that big case earned me a lot of attention — at first,” says Hopps about the incident featured in the documentary film Zootopia. “But in the end, it didn’t do much for my police career. Once my celebrity status wore off, I was back to issuing parking tickets.”

I wonder what’s the story with the word, “police” on the harness? If the police dept is using bunnehs, I might not mind being stopped. Maybe I took too many greens for my bunnehs and now I need to get major disapproval and a few thumps – I can live with that.
According to the Facebook page, she got the harness from a site called BunnyApproved. She thinks they don’t make it anymore, tho.
That’s a Chihuahua harness for tiny “police” dogs. But I think Police bunnies would be a wonderful idea. Stop or you will get a thumping!
Faye, are Chihuahuas really used as “police” dogs, if so, for what, or are you pulling my leg?
Apparently there’s one in Japan. (Of course; where else?)

I saw a video about one used as a drug dog. The Officer would pick it up and put it right in a car. But Chihuahua owners think it’s funny to have harnesses it tshirts that say Police, SWAT, Security etc.
I guess they (the wawas) could sneak into wee spaces where wee criminals may be hiding?
I can picture her as the chief of a mixed-species squad, along with the guinea pig that was rescued by the kindly German cops. And some of those bomb-sniffing rats.
Like an all animals version of Barney Miller!
Yes! Oh, and those trained ferrets who lay cable could be the surveillance team.
Between the woffling nose and those adorable ears, I’m not thinking much of anything.
Squeeeeeeeeeee!
It’s a new police tactic, they reduce you to a puddle of happy goo from the cuteness and then all they have to do is scoop you up ?
Would work on me…
?
Look out ner’do-wells,theres a new ‘hare-iff in town!
?
What a cutiepie! And how I loved Zootopia! There’s a new book of amigurumi crochet characters from the movie, including Sid the Sloth.
I went in expecting a cute kid flick, but it was a good movie by any standard: well directed, beautifully animated, and genuinely insightful.
And I was desperately envious of that elephant costume. Toot toot!
It’s a fur cop, guv’nor!
Thank you for the 21 Jumpstreet reference! Nicely done. 😉
