After the departure of Dorothy and the twin demises of the Wicked Witches, Glinda the Good Witch lost all sense of purpose and began to drink heavily, culminating in a cross-country bender in which she crashed-landed her bubble in the Forest of Gugu, startling the Cowardly Lion.

    I have a page from an old CO calendar (Feb. 4, 2013, to be specific) that has a dog about to bite a big bubble and the caption says “what really happened to Glinda the good witch.”
