With you there, EMS. It’s 30C here, and we’ve got the smoke from the fires in BC’s interior, so it’s kinda chokey here. And we’ve got a heat wave coming up this week. The smoke makes the sun red, and the air is honey coloured, and the heat is only getting worse. 15C sounds good. No rain in sight, plants dying everywhere, people fainting in the streets…if this is a hint of what H-E-double hockey sticks is like, I’m gonna be SUCH a good girl from now on.

It was 38 C today and I had to cut a patch of molten asphalt from one of the cats’ fur. 🙁
The company I work for handed out ice-cold alcoholfree beer to make the heat more bearable. I wish I liked beer 🙂 They also offered me a parking space closer to my building, but I told my managers to offer it to those more in need (the elderly, those with difficulty in walking etc)
