Guarding the Galaxy… And Sheep

This is the story of five robotic sheepdogs who protect the galaxy from the evil space wizard Lord Dacron, and also watch over a herd of sheep when there’s nothing else happening. Whenever the herd is threatened by Lord Dacron’s cyber-wolves, our heroes combine into the mighty warrior known as… Doltron!

Instead of herding us, we could all just ride around in that thing. Just saying.

Farmer spends £2,000 converting car into a sheepdog, found by Sharon H.

    That….is kinda terrifying…

And he now has to sell it because it’s too big? Maybe he should have converted an ATV or something.

I’m sad for him that he can’t keep it.

Supposedly the reboot , can’t recall if it’s hulu or netflix, is quite good.

I was more of a vehicle voltron fan. Less stupid mice, less stupid princess-in-distress. And more bad-a$$ villain than that anime equivalent of Draco. Could that kid be any more euro-trashy?

I think this was one of the first ‘Animes’ (1984) I seen
          (Toei) That and Astroboy

In case you weren’t aware, the first season was literally a heavily-edited anime. Original title was Beast King GoLion.

I caught it! Used to watch it on the old weekday afternoon Toonami block back in the ’90s. That and Thundercats!

Being a sheep has some advantages.
When a group photo is taken, I always have to show my supposedly nicer face, Iam never allowed to simply turn my back /show my ass 🙁 like some sheep do.

I just learned the Minnesota State Fair is having a “Dress a Sheep” Contest.

Creativity, hustle and a bit of moxie combine in this brand-new contest at the State Fair. Teams of up to four people (in complementary costumes) have 10 minutes to outfit their willing and woolly comrade in a clever costume. Dressed to impress, the teams parade around the show ring hoping to win over both the audience and the judges.

    Sunday, Aug. 27, 11 a.m.

Located in the Sheep Barn (Aug. 27)

On an unrelated note, I think I saw Carl on my way home!

There was a guy with a dark gray poodle who was prancing back and forth on his leash. Looked just like Carl but maybe a little lighter.

We Need to Talk About Carl – one of the great ones.

      • allein ? August 7, 2017 / 7:51 pm

I literally giggled the rest of the way down the road.

      • Smartypants August 7, 2017 / 8:28 pm

        One of my all-time faves!
