Stay Thirsty, My Squirrel

Wally is a thirsty little squirrel.

Getting a drink every chance he gets.

He lives with other animals and drinks their water,

Even the animals that live in water.

I like how he uses the mat for a napkin. So genteel.

I love it when animals just casually use us for their own purposes.

Animals instinctively drink running water because moving water is cleaner–flowing stream as opposed to stagnant pool. My cats drink from the tap every time I turn it on, whether they’re thirsty or not.

The squirrel is exquisite. The love his humans have for him is evident in how he makes use of all the water sources. But for me the best evidence was when the human drank out of the glass of pink lemonade right after the squirrel! If he had anything harmful they would all be sick already.

I share a spoon with Millie every once in awhile. I kiss her right on the mouth so i figure we have shared all our microbes already.
