I’ll have what they’re having, Faye.

Where is this magical place where you hold a cup of sweet liquid and you’re mobbed by hummingbirds?

Seriously. I would give anything to have hummies perch on my hand.

So many lucky cats in this linky collection! Thank goodness!

my arm was getting tired just watching that.

I was wondering if that guy was resting his arm on something, but it still must have been really hard to keep his hand still.

I was afraid the baby flamingo’s boots were because something was wrong with his feet; glad it’s just to protect them from the ground.

That makes that they protect his feet, because those things are FIERCE!

Yes, that made me happy too – he’s just a little tenderfoot!

I’m so glad the loons found someone to help him, the call of the loons on the lake in the evening is one of my favourite memories of camping out with my family as a child.

I’m up on the North Shore of Lake Superior right now, and the call of the loons (and loon sightings) are the highlight of our vacation!

🙂 Holy smokes it is beautiful up there N. Fritz! Please offer a small token to Gichigami for me, I would be grateful.

Will do, FKAWaldenPond! Have you read the novels by William Kent Krueger, set in the Arrowhead? I’m reading the first one, Iron Lake, right now. Good read!

Ohh I haven’t! Thanks for the tip as I have just recently started reading mystery, suspense, who-dunnit novels. Perhaps I will ‘every-other’ with the Rita Mae Brown, Miss Murphy mysteries I just recently submerged into. His work may be a good palette cleanse and vice versa with the her work. I’ll check him out at the library.
