And Now a Message from the Disapproval Foundation

Many people wonder why we bunnies are so perpetually disapproving. No matter how well you feed us, how gently you cuddle us, how much of your sad pointless lives you spend on our care, we remain pouty and aloof. Allow me to set the record straight: we appreciate all that you do for us. We just have “resting grump face.”

I’m actually quite ecstatic right now.

Bunny looks rather wistful to me. And very sweet.

In spite of all that we bunneh owners ( also including all pet owners), do and sometimes sacrifice, to hopefully keep them healthy, happy, clean, safe, entertained and feel loved, we still get the disapproval– but it’s worth it. A happy, well fed, binking, exploring or relaxing, sleeping bunneh, puts a big smile on my face.

NTMTOM, how’s your bunny Ani doing? Do you have any pictures of her?

      Second on the Ani update.

I’ve been wondering, too. Does Ani have you hopping to her every wish?

Ani is doing quite well. She joins me on the porch every morning to get a look at the neighborhood activity, and sometimes I let her hop around outside.

Shorty, the neighborhood cat who adopted me, is missing a patch of fur from his nose. I suspect he got into a fight, but the affected area doesn’t seem to be tender or badly damaged. I’m going to keep a close watch on it to see how it heals.

Thank you for sharing, I was wondering! Ani, looks quite distinguished and Shorty still has a wonderful swagger… I hope that swagger does not get him into too much trouble.

Ani is such a beauty. I had a black bun with that same sort of “grizzled” look to her fur – she was gorgeous, too. And I hope Shorty learns from his encounters!
