Good thinking, FKA… WE have cause to worry about many Cutetropolitans I suspect.
I’m in the central area, not close to either coast. Ani will be safely indoors. As for Shorty, he’s a neighborhood cat and roams a lot. If it starts to get dangerous here and I can persuade him to stay indoors, I will. Thanks for thinking of us, and I hope all Cutetropolitans stay safe wherever they are.

That hamster is the spitting image of Wheels, my first pet. Wheels always looked like that: like he’d woken up still drunk from the night before, hungover and complete with a case of the bedspins ….

Looks like I did first thing this morning.
Someone in the building next door thought “Hey, it’s five thirty in the morning. I think I’ll open all the window and doors, and vacuum!”
Beady eye factor on this little cutie might be approaching twelve. Peenk nosicle, itty bitty feetses with even tinier toesies, and those whiskers!…
Sky is completely covered with smoke here. Gives the place a greenish colour. I prefer the pinkness of the picture. Wishing everyone a safe day.
Oh dear – I know ‘cleanliness is next to Godliness’…but that doesn’t mean pre-dawn vacuuming!
The clerk at the gas station down the block once felt possessed to use a LEAF BLOWER at 4:30 AM (as a safety thing, to clear leaves away from the pumps). So there I was in my sleep pants and T-shirt: “Use…a….broom…!” LOL it never happened again 😀
As for bad hair day, my Felix definitely has a good hair day today.
Yesterday it became quite cold out of a sudden, this morning it was only 44,6 F (was 100 F at the weekend) so Felix cat quickly decided to grow a winter coat and fluff up in a day. Now he is as soft as in winter. I wish I could double my fluff volume in a day, I would advertise shampoo on TV 🙂
Maybe you can get Felix a contract – “volumizing shampoo, it’s not just for humans!” 😀
We’ve been having weird wx here too – Saturday there was frost on the roof (very unusual for early September), Sunday it rained buckets, and today it’s normal – hot and humid, thunderstorms on the way.
