I Need a Hug

In fact, I need lots of hugs. I find they’re a good pick-me-up.

Hugs to all who are coping with the weather. Video found by Murray C.

Aw, this is making me miss my Pablo hugs. Stars and Stripes aren’t huggers. 🙁

    Assume the position!

And hugs to all, especially those dealing with all sorts of difficult issues – Duckie, Patty, Ricky’s Mom – I’ve read them all this morning but I can’t remember enough to list you all but you know who you are!

😀 I say that out loud when I go for a hug with flappy lips– ‘Assume hugging posseeettshion.’ And I second that, I am lurking and fretting up here. Please be safe all.

Aww, thanks. I’m hanging in okay. Finally decompressing after last week. Onward, ever onward!

I can see how that would work every time.

      I could never resist!

Murray and Mike, thank you for finding and posting this. Much needed right now. Maybe this could be given a permanent link somewhere, so that when we are in need, we can go to it immediately.

Duckie use the Cutetropolis search box. Type in HUG. I tried it and this post comes right up.

I have a folder in my bookmarks called “Happiness.” Most of the links in there are from the old ranch, some from here, along with some fun youtube videos and such. Occasionally I just go click a random link in there.

Our cat is the antithesis of this one – if we should deign to pick up her up she would hyper-extend her legs over your shoulder and let out a god-awful *mrowr* – so we called it “bagpiping” the cat.

    • Faye September 9, 2017 / 5:19 pm

ROFLOL. Oh god that is a totally accurate funny description of a don’t pick me up cat maneuver. Stiff and caterwauling.

      😀 😀

How adorable! I would never be able to resist this kitty and why would I even want to! 😀

OMG, the precious tummy! “Lift meeee!” I chuckled through the whole thing – that is so sweet!

If I owned that cat I’d never get anything done around the house.

And kitteh refuses to let go once he’s up there! Check this other video on the same channel (volume up!):

      Rescue story video is wonderful!

      • Murray C September 10, 2017 / 10:25 am

Oh, it was terrific! I also saw the one about the cat that had been covered in concrete by some psychopath. Thank goodness he was found and treated – and thank goodness for Good Samaritans.

On another note, why do people fleeing the hurricane chain their dogs to their cars? Or leave them in carriers in their houses? In Florida it’s a felony to mistreat animals this way.

          One word. Assholes.

          • Murray C September 10, 2017 / 10:46 am

I dunno, that gives assholes a bad name. They at least have a function.?

            • Faye September 10, 2017 / 7:08 pm

              True. Hmmm. Shmucks.

              • Murray C September 10, 2017 / 11:02 pm

                Bingo.

      • allein ? September 10, 2017 / 4:54 pm

Then there’s this one when dad went away for a while.

No wonder he doesn’t want to let go!

I have two cats. Him, he does the hugging thing. Every. Day. I can’t help it but always kiss his tummy first. It’s just too cute 🙂
Her, she clings like the cat from the second video. Because she is afraid of being carried around and she will cling with everything she has to your shirt. Even if you are not wearing a shirt XD
