Getting to Know Goth Bunnies

Goth bunnies are a sub-group of bunny culture who dress in black and embrace dark themes. Unlike mainstream bunnies, who hop, frolic, and glare disapprovingly, goth bunnies shamble, brood, and glare disapprovingly. Their favorite foods are blackberries, black beans, black cabbage, and blood oranges. Aloof and distant, goth bunnies are rarely troublesome, but if they do become annoying they are easily dispersed by telling them there’s a sale at Spencer Gifts.

    They look unfathomably soft!

    • Murray C September 10, 2017 / 10:40 am

They are! It is amazing how many degrees of softness there are. I was at a petting zoo and was petting different rabbits and came across rabbits with coats like these and I couldn’t believe how soft they are. Soft to the umpteenth power.

Aren’t they gorgeous – the shading of their coats!

Stunning! I’ve never seen these before! Wow! Absolutely gorgeous!

I have never seen bunnies like this before either! Beautiful, but that teenage angst/emo/goth stuff would get on my nerves real quick! Get over it, buns!

Or at ‘Hot Topic’ – my Goth cousin refers to them as “Mall Goths” 😀

OMG – Hot Topic – Yes!

Hot Topic is current day, Spencer Gifts in the 80’s!

    Beautiful Bunnies!

Rexes do have very velvety type fur. Beautiful bunnehs and I love their otter fur colors. Bunny “Goth,” is the only kind that appeals to me. Wish I could snorgle with these two, Goth, brooding, disapproving buns.

Really good cover, though I admit I prefer the original.

I really do like that cover. But it is one of my favorite S&G songs (that and The Boxer).

He’s got a great voice and it’s certainly an interesting interpretation. I love the boat at the end – it’s as if Noah took two of every instrument instead of animals. Have trouble with the doodads on his chin – rather distracting.

Yeah, facial piercings make me cringe a bit. I mean, to each his own, but…ow?

Most of their songs (at least the handful I know) contain a fair bit of screaminess, which I’m not generally a fan of. This one shows off his voice better, I think.

          • Murray C September 10, 2017 / 11:04 pm

Yeah, I wasn’t nuts about that – sort of formulaic and over the top as far as interpreting the song – it really doesn’t need preachiness, especially fire and brimstone.

          • kodalai September 11, 2017 / 10:14 am

I was surprised (and impressed!) by what a voice he’d been hiding behind all that screaming 🙂

              Right?

    • Kar September 11, 2017 / 4:47 pm

As a cover this should absolutely not work, but it does.
