Would it be a bad idea to just (gently) grab that little turned up bit at the end?

    • Jendeyan September 20, 2017 / 1:44 pm

I’m thinking yes to that question. But if you want to, go right ahead so I can do the same while he’s mauling you. ^_^

        …might be worth it..

Yes, the tail caught my eye. But then my attention was distracted by that fine muscular right haunch. And then the spots on the left front leg…

Did you notice the earsies? Sooo cute, begging for a rub… OK so I have a thing for ears, even on a big kitty.

What do you call a six-pack when it’s not on someone’s midriff? Serious muscles right there! AND a beautiful tail.

Pretty kitty! Tempting to think one could grab a snorgle with him, but that’s probably not a good idea.

My grandkitty Bruno, who is a 14 yr old spoiled black cat, had emergency surgery yesterday. They found a mass in his lower GI tract, which they removed. We are waiting on the biopsy, fearing it might be cancer. They were having problems stabilizing him after surgery. My daughter is going to be devastated if he doesn’t make it.

I fell Sunday night, and think I have broken my leg. If it is broken, it is similar to the break my brother suffered a couple of months ago, where it was a non weight bearing leg bone, and they said it didn’t need a cast, just told him to avoid walking on it. I didn’t go to the ER to have it x-rayed, mostly because I don’t have insurance, but also because when I wondered if I should, the husband said, “We still owe from when you broke your tailbone”. There is a little swelling, and it hurts to walk on it, but it isn’t unbearable pain, and it gets me out of doing the housework.

Yes, housework should be avoided for a while. I hope your kitty pulls through. Take it easy. You’ve certainly earned a break from the misfortune.

    • Emsthemonster September 20, 2017 / 5:21 pm

Jeeze, my I ask fate/random deity to give Patty a break?
It often comes to my mind how difficult this year has been, basically there haven’t been 2-3 days in a row without some new major problem coming up, be it of financial, health, or technical nature, which have made me really exhausted by now. But then I always read what is up with Patty and I feel like a snowflake 🙂
I really hope some easier times are coming for you, Patty!

Patty, sending good thoughts your way for you and your grandkitty. And by all means, avoid housework. It’s never done anyway.

    • Dubravkamcvmd September 20, 2017 / 5:51 pm

Oh no Patty! What next? I’m sorry for all your trouble.

    • Not That Mike The Other Mike September 20, 2017 / 6:33 pm

Oh no! 🙁 So sorry for your troubles, I hope things get better for you and Bruno soon.

    • Starfish September 20, 2017 / 7:52 pm

Sorry to hear about all that, Patty. You and Bruno both get better soon! In the meantime, enjoy your time off from the housework!

    • Gigi the cat lady September 20, 2017 / 10:42 pm

It makes me so sad to think that you can’t get the care you need because you can’t afford it. Please take care of yourself and I hope Bruno and you feel better soon.

    • Clairdelune September 22, 2017 / 9:59 am

Oh Patty, so sorry to hear of the rough time you are having!! I hope Bruno will be OK – it’s hard to lose a beloved cat, I went through that a couple of times already.
Also hope your leg is OK – it is so wrong that any inhabitant of this country can’t afford medical insurance and/or care. I assume you are not old enough for Medicare?
I also had a couple of falls in the house, fortunately did not break any bones, but was unable to walk or use the computer for a few days.
Good thoughts from me to you for your beloved grandkitty and your leg – and keep hoping for a better time ahead. The sun MUST come up sooner or later, right?? Preferably sooner…

      • allein ? September 22, 2017 / 10:10 am

Funny…last night for some reason I got The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow stuck in my head…
