Links: Anyone Missing Some Lynx?

And finally: Prosh Puppy Poses

Watch this puppy demonstrate a variety of cute head poses in just seconds. Then watch it again. And maybe a third time just to be sure.

The ORIGINAL cute puppy video — this time with sound!

I watched four times, just to be extra sure.

That posing puppy so reminds me of my Aussie Jasper. Even as an adult, when you got the camera out, he would pose. Once on a walk at the park, a young girl asked if she could take his picture. I think she took 20, he was such a good model, and he KNEW it.

Pablo used to do that. He’d be doing something cute (like, you know, existing) and as soon as I’d get the camera he’d pop his head up and pose instead of doing what I wanted to get a picture of.

How do you tell a lynx to get off the table…?

I didn’t know Lynxies had such big paws! They look like they are wearing boxing mitts.

I know! They’re ginormous , especially on the little ones – they’ve got some growing to do. They are rather gangly animals, aren’t they? VERY cute.

I love how Lynxes are taller in the back than the front. And the ear tufts! Yellow eyes. And big feetes.

Wild things. The guy was so lucky with his accidental camouflage.

I’m more of a cat person but I’d definitely give Phil a shot (and belly rubs, obviously).

I’m always missing some lynx. This guy got mine.

Today, George Weasleycat was doing faces and poses very similar to the puppy’s in the video. I think he was apologizing for peeing on the bed Thursday night and then Friday morning. Almost called in to work to say “My cats are too cute, and it’s raining, so I’m taking the day off.”

Oh if only that were an acceptable excuse to call off work! But then, if it were, I might never actually make it to the office. My Ella recently has been following me half way down the stairs that lead to my front door, then sitting and looking at me very sadly as I leave for work. It’s honestly heart breaking.

That’s a lot of kits for one mama to deal with. It’s windy today, which makes my internet spotty (wind blows cable around, bare spots on cable rub tree branches), so I hope this comment hits a time when the internet is working.
That is about the cutest puppy ever.
I noticed my foot was tingly, and my toes were sorta blue, so I finally went to the ER last night. I do have a break in the fibula, right near the top by my knee. They did an ultrasound to be sure there is no blood clot, said the tingly is likely from walking around on a broken leg irritating a nerve. I guess I bruised my toes, which is why they were sorta blue. I came home with a knee stabilizer that goes from my thigh to my ankle. It sure helps with the pain when walking, and sleeping. I’m supposed to wear it for 2 weeks. “Oh, need a ride? Sorry, can’t bend my leg to get into my car” Guess the husband will have to do the grocery shopping for a couple of weeks.

Holy smokes, Patty! I’m glad you went to the ER and that you’ve got an excuse to stop taking care of others for a while.

I’m glad you finally went to the hospital and that you feel better. I understand that it can be tough to decide to seek heath care for you American because of the cost but you can’t ignore a broken leg.

OMG, Patty, thank heaven you finally went to see a Doc! I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this along with whatever else is going on in your life. And I hope Hubby is glad to help out?????

I am relieved that finally a doctor saw it. I heard patting soft kitties and listening to purrs help the healing process!
