Maru Conquers the Amazon

Like all boxaholics, Maru requires a constant supply of fresh boxes in which to crawl. That’s why cats everywhere rely on Amazon.com, featuring the world’s largest assortment of interesting boxes. And when you shop Amazon from the links on this site, Cutetropolis gets a small bounty.

Gee, how did I know “the Amazon” would be a box…? 😛

I would be happy to see him rafting down the Amazon River in a waterproofed box…

Guest appearance by Hana. “What up, World Print Cow?”

At least there’s no inappropriate sniffing this time!

    (1) Cats do not understand the concept of “lift.” They only understand the concept of “poke nose into.”

    (2) At 0:54-ish, Hana is walking toward … maybe a laundry or utility room? — whatever that back room is, and the light comes on. Did Mugumogu do that? Was she in that room instead of behind the camera, or does she have a remote control? Or, what it looked like to me, is there a motion-sensing light switch? Seems like with cats in the house, such a switch would turn on and off all day. But maybe that’s the point? Maybe the litter boxes and/or food and water dishes are in there, and the idea is that the cats can turn the light on in “their” room just by walking into it? I’m not a Maru expert; does anyone who is one know what’s up with that?

Yes, I think it’s a motion sensor – I’ve seen Hana switch it on during one of their other videos too.

        Thanks.
