Okay, a big buff guy in a pink unicorn costume totally made my day. The little pony was adorbs too.
Needed the laugh–some upheavals at work mean that my job will be seriously redefined. I’m hugely relieved to still HAVE a job (two valuable people have been let go) and look forward to figuring out the new duties, but am sad about losing other things.

The Japanese kittens have killed me ded. I love how they just slop over the sides of the bed as they get bigger. So many lucky kitcats in this collection! And the red panda babies–squee.

You can find photos of soldiers playing with kittens and putting uniforms on dogs for all sides of all wars since the invention of photography. It’s one of the few constants in life.
If you go all the way through the linked kitty stories, the next gallery is pups that have been mascots for soldiers all over the world. I know if I was far away from my family and going through awful things, a furry friend would make ALL the difference to my mental health!
And I know this is PG-rated site, but still: when I saw the unicorn guy dancing with his pony, my first thought was, “Hold that unicorn head WAY up, dude!” 😀
