Mistake-Out

He’s a clever squirrel, I’ll give him that. Careful and patient. Knows when he’s being watched. But two can play the waiting game, sport. Even now, the panic is starting to set in: Is the dog still out there? he asks himself. How much longer can I hold out? Sooner or later, he’ll crack. Make a break for it. And that’s when I’ll have him.

He moved! I swear he moved!

Silly pup. 🙂 Gorgeous dog. Basenji? Ibizan?

My guess was Basenji, but then I’m not familiar with Ibizan. Very noble looking though.

Does he go for an adventure in that painting accompanied by a huge jumping spider?

We can hope so. Otherwise it would just be a crewel lye.

        Hahaha!

I think pup is hoping that it’s a painting of Narnia and he’s about to go on an adventure.

Don’t you listen to them, doggie! That is a window and that sqwerl is out there!

Doggie needs Dick Van Dyke to help him get to that squirrel!

Would anyone with an awful Cockney accent do?

      • CAZ January 9, 2018 / 10:48 am

As long as they have magic chalk!

        • allein ? January 9, 2018 / 10:54 am

          Are there dancing penguins?

          • Alice Shortcake January 9, 2018 / 11:00 am

Totally OT, but I’ve never understood why Disney set the film adaptation in Edwardian times rather than the 30s (the ‘present day’ to P L Travers).

Maybe some dancing squirrels and doggie just wants to dance with them 😉

? Wasn’t that the WORST!? It makes it hard for me to watch the movie. Pup is very detail (de-tail?) oriented.

          Ha!

There used to be a website where they judge bad accents against the Dick Van Dyke (allegedly) Cockney. Few if any make it to that level of awfulness, but it does make for some great entertainment! Even today, if you look at lists of bad movie accents, he’s ALWAYS at or near the top!

    Clever, patient doggie!!
I have a painting of an outdoor scene over my bed – lots of trees and a cabin on a pond— my cat thinks it’s a window, she cannot quite reach that high but she often stands on my bed and stares at the painting longingly… maybe she hopes a bird will fly out of the trees, the way the do in the backyard.

With those ears he can probably hear the squirrel.
When I first looked I thought this post was going to be about a horse, til I scrolled down and saw it was a doggo.
