I Beg of Thee

“Please, guv’nah, spare a small morsel for a poor ‘ungry orphan such as I? I ‘aven’t ‘ad so much as a crust of bread since breakfast, and that was over ten minutes ago!”

“If you don’t give him whatever he wants, you have no heart,” says sender-inner Gigi the cat lady.

    Oh my. Oh my.
If you watched that without the sound up go back and fix your mistake!
The squeekings (just noticed that that also reads squee kings which is just as appropriate) get me every time!

Oh, yes! Must watch with sound!

I like how he stops to yawn, though. Makes one wonder if it isn’t all an act. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yawning can be a sign of anxiety. But you need to really know your dog to interpret correctly.

I would have had a hard time holding out as long as over a minute with this little darling, but if the morsel is being trained, perhaps it’s as well the videographer didn’t give in. Little dogs in particular tend to be spoiled by softy hoomins like me. Ricky was seven when I adopted him, and as a first-time dog mom I’m sure I made mistakes. Now that he’s sixteen, I figure I can spoil him as much as I like!

        P.S. Squeeeeeee! Kiss. Ded.

Yes indeed. It’s so hard to resist a little cutie! But if you don’t, it’s all too easy to end up with a no-longer-little chunky. ?

As we learned quickly when Sebastian the cocker joined our family and turned those big, sad, moist eyes on us; he’s now in a strict snack as well as food diet!

This cutie’s family is probably doing the right thing. Even though I’m sure they feel positively cruel as a result! It’s the whimpering that would get to me for sure!

More of this precious one, with its hoomins and big brother.

Yep. Ded. Expired. Passed. Beyond the fjords. Ex.

That bowl stirring did it for me. He must really want what’s in that bowl.

And big bro, don’t like it that he has to KISS daddy but daddy kisses the baby. Some sort of power dynamic going on there

I can’t say more than I did when I sent it in : โ€œIf you donโ€™t give him whatever he wants, you have no heart,โ€

Mutated-looking bulging head … strange unEarthly squeekings … I could think only of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figrin_D’an_and_the_Modal_Nodes

They are trapped by this tiny being. I feel delighted for them.

Not giving in…to…the…cute…nope! As totally over-the-top adorable as he is, no food from the table! One of my dog (and cat, but this cat isn’t interested in human food) house rules. But he must be so hard to resist!
