Alas, as cute as this pup is, I could have provided a very NOT-cute version of the Dog Lick Day Spa. This morning Melody got her Cone of Shame off (for about the 15th time) and started licking her bandage, finally getting the one the vet put on Wednesday quite solidly to slide down her leg to the wound was exposed. She did all this in the 30 seconds my husband came back to my office to tell me something! She’s driving us NUTS! Also very talented.
Yesterday my husband was out for a while; when he got home, she met him at the door and promptly shook the Cone off right into his hands! That takes skill, you know? (The stupid doggie onesie people got buried with 5,000 back orders and a big shipment, so we probably won’t get ours till Monday. Drat!) I’m about ready to rename her Houdini!
