Outfoxed

Creeping silently, the wily fox hunts its prey, the helpless and innocent bunny rabbit. Driven by its ravenous hunger, the cunning fox must rely upon its keen eyesight and sense of smell to locate the small defenseless creature and devour it without mercy. Its senses tingle; it knows the rabbit is near. And with a sudden burst of speed, the beast attacks!

This gruesome spectacle was witnessed by Andrew Y. (appropriate sound effect)

I knew someone would go there as soon as I watched the video and I LOVE that about the people on this site!

I was so amazed that I got there first I nearly soiled my armour.

Is this really appropriate for Cutetropolis?

And why don’t I have a big-eared fox and a tiny baby bunny? Unacceptable!

? silly fox. At first I was leery of scrolling further, then knew Mike wouldn’t terrify us, would he? ? However, one day the tables could be turned on the bunneh, I hope not. Maybe future odd animal friends?

I knew before I played the clip what the appropriate sound effect would be! One advantage of growing up with Saturday morning mouse music!

LOVE the fox frantically doing the opposite of what’s expected.
My feelings were very deeply hurt by a toy yesterday. A lady was demo-ing one of those interactive finger toys, a little purple monkey. The thing was chattering away to her, blinking, and turning its head, and I thought it was cute, so I asked if I could try. She slipped the thing onto my finger, and it fell asleep!

Don’t be insulted it was a compliment, it means that it felt safe and you have comfortable fingers. ?

OK, I will look at it that way.

This is an exaggerated example of how the cats in my neighborhood react to my rabbit Ani when we are outside for morning exercise. Ani wants to be with the cats very much; she will follow them and then park herself a certain distance away. The cats, for their part, will tolerate her as long as she doesn’t come too close, then they will get up and move. And if any of the cats has to walk past her, they will either speed up or alter course.

The exception is Shorty, who will play-stalk her, complete with butt-wiggle. He’s even pounced a couple of times, but he carefully lands just behind her, which sends her running.

I’m glad Ani has Shorty to socialize with. I didn’t realize rabbits were social animals.

Glad to know Ani will walk with you, I presume on a leash. Not all buns are into walking with hoomins. The cats probably find her a curiosity & Shorty may become a friendly play mate someday ? ?.

Neighbors in the country had a pet raccoon, who was curious and friendly and a bit short-sighted. So he would waddle up to our dogs and sniff them and pat their noses. The dogs would freeze stock-still, panicking and shivering, tails between their legs. They knew deep in their bones that they were supposed to be chasing the bejeezus out of the raccoon, but the raccoon was doing it RONG, and this rocked their world.

No one was hurt in these encounters, but the dogs took hours to recover their amour propre.

        LOL

Love this! even more for ‘RONG’ and ‘amour propre’ usage!! 😀

That’s awesome, I didn’t know they socialized so closely.
