Therapy dogs at Parkland made me tear up.
The little animals being weighed suddenly reminded me of the keepers trying to get Fiona on a scale, and I teared up.
Will the otters parade to celebrate the court decision? A “celebration of otters” sounds like a good name for a group of them.
On a completely different note, somewhere in the same inter-dimensional universe as sock monkey kitty, I learned yesterday that the episodes of Doctor Who, starting with the ninth Doctor (the War Doctor), should be coming out in book format starting in September!
And on a more personal note, hubby is giving two weeks’ notice at one job today, and signing papers for new job tomorrow!

I just finished reading Wild Ones: A Sometimes Dismaying, Weirdly Reassuring Story About Looking at People Looking at Animals in America by Jon Mooallem and he mentions the otter-free zone (and what a failure it’s been).
Oh sweet nostalgia, I remember weighing my 2 kittens on the kitchen scale and now Felix kitty covers most of my upper body and I can no longer hold him down for the anti flea drops.
They grow up so fast 🙂
