So far I’m digging these links, but this part of the outdoor cat article gets a downvote from me: “when you stop at a craft brewery for a flight in some crunchy mountain town, they’re perfectly content to curl up on the car seat.”

NO. Do not leave pets unattended in a car. Bad author, bad, bad!

I love Picasso and I knew the people of Cutetropolis would love him too.

Please please please tell me that they’re taking him to the ugly dog contest next year!

As much as I Love Picasso, and that is totally, I love the people who pulled Pablo and Picasso from the high kill shelter. I wish I could rescue all the dogs. ?

Yes, thanks for posting that, GiGi – I had seen the article on him and was so pleased to learn that he had no trouble chewing and could play tug of war – all good news.

Picasso is wonderful. And the #rateaspecies Twitter posts are really funny. Monterey Aquarium especially witty. Red Pandas adorable. Really, all winners.

The Smithsonian pictures are amazing. Love baby birdy hugging mama’s beak.

    Zoo people are awesome.

I’m glad Picasso doesn’t have any trouble eating or chewing, and I take his human’s word for it — but I’d believe it even better if I could see it. His teeth don’t come anywhere close to meshing — how can he NOT have trouble chewing? Poor pup. I’m surprised such a deformity is even possible.
