I was at a local march today – so moving! 17 kids holding a picture of one of the kids who got killed in Parkland came up one at a time and said their name and age while taps payed. Then there were a couple of minutes of silence – it was incredibly moving.

I think your male was just a slob, or your female was a neat-freak. My boys wash each other, and the girls. Dearly departed Mr. Tibbles was always checking to see if everybody had their fur on straight.
I see my baby boy and his sister as a more complex situation, They were half brother and sister who had alway been together (long story).
She liked cats better than humans. She focused on him and he loved his Mom (me) although he felt deeply about his sister in somewhat contradictory ways,

How’d Maru get his front foot out? Was there a separate hole in the bottom of the bag? (Bottom as positioned on the floor; side if set upright.) Or did he manage to get a foot out of the hole for his head, which was barely big enough for his head, but I guess there might be enough floof around his neck to fit a leg in alongside it?
Also I never noticed before how much longer Hana’s tail is than Maru’s. It LOOKS longer because it’s thinner, but it actually IS longer. Maru is bigger than Hana in most other dimensions. I figured cat tails came in two lengths — full and none. Maybe whatever breed Maru is has a medium length tail.
