Twist Ending

Don’t get me wrong, I love my sister. Most of the time we get along great. But does she have to imitate everything I do? If I get a new jacket, she has to get a new jacket. If I get my hair braided, she has to get her hair braided. Like I said, I love her, but sometimes she can be a real horse’s … tail.

Sorry, mom won’t let me say the other word.

It’s like they’re twins or something, Sharon H.

I thought she was one of those American Girl dolls you can get that look like you. 😉

I used to have hair like that (well, not blonde, and only to my hip).

I don’t think I could deal with it anymore.

When I was a kid I had long hair just like that until our old country doctor told my mom to cut short because my hair was taking all my vitamins and that’s why I had anemia!?!?!
I didn’t mind but my mom cried like a baby while she was cutting it.

One of those braids seems…less than…absolutely genuine.

When I was seven, I could sit on my hair. But I HATED having it combed out every day. I finally convinced my mom that a haircut would be beneficial to ALL of the family, and she took me in. An older woman saw that I was getting a good foot and a half cut off, and she asked if she could have my hair in return for paying for the cut. She said she made dolls, and my hair would be perfect.
Mom agreed, I got my hair cut, and the lady made her doll.

I was in high school/college when I had my super-long hair. Cut it just before going back for my junior year. Ten inches off and it was still at my shoulder blades. Then a couple months later I went to get it “trimmed” while I was at school and ended up getting another six inches cut off so it was at my shoulders. It’s been somewhere between the two ever since.

Waist length through high school; very short from then til now (30 years – wow!)

Your image tags didn’t work, but the link shows in my email:

Reminds me of my cousin’s kids; they’re a year apart and when they were little she dressed them alike all the time (or at least for holidays and stuff).
