Poor puppy! How did he even get out there?!

Wow! That was incredibly brave, especially since the man only had the one thin rope/cable to secure him! The poor pup was frozen with fear, you could see. People are so good-hearted, it just makes me happy whenever I see something like this~

Crap! That was daring and at times ill advised – suppose that collar had come off? and that rope was so thin as to hurt the dog – I only wish they’d been better prepared but they DID it! Poor pooch, yes, how the hell did he GET in that predicament??? Whew!

It doesn’t look like there’s a way for the dog to have gotten there by himself. There are guard rails and it so high, he couldn’t have jumped in by himself. The only thing that comes to mind, as horrible as it may be, is that someone threw him in and that make me very very angry ?

Another possibility: That dam has a reservoir behind it, which is where the flowing water comes from. Although we see guard rails around the spill area, most reservoirs are like small lakes and may be accessible from other sides.

A dog could have wandered in from an area we can’t see in the video and been drawn to the spill by the force of the current. From there, it could have climbed up on the lip where we saw it standing, but couldn’t find an exit.

More than nail-biting, Mike, I was on the edge of my seat, holding my breath, even though
I knew there was a good outcome. Brave guy to go out like that. Good thing the pooch
co-operated and went willingly, if kinda fearfully.

The pooch was too terrified to struggle!! But it was a good thing, because otherwise he might have lashed out in fear.

Poor puppers! I’m so glad he was saved, and so greatful for the man and the team with him to get that doggie to safety. Kudos to them all!

I think pooch got swept down stream and was lucky enough to get itself on the edge.

I was on the edge of my seat. It was like a blockbuster movie.

    Good on those humans.
