My house really needs a capybara.

    • Julie August 31, 2016 / 11:45 am

That’s funny bc I was thinking, “…why don’t more people have capybaras as pets?” They seem like really mellow dogs.

Should be mandatory. Would you look at those nostrils, for heaven’s sake. There’s a bit of horse in a Capy, too!

If the Playboy Mansion can come with its own mandatory Hugh Hefner, why shouldn’t us ordinary citizens get a mandatory Capybara?

We would sure as h**l have the better end of that deal!

              Truth! Ha ha!

As a person with 5 cats, I have no idea how that couple with the rescue pets managed to have that cat cooperate for photos that way. I mean, standing on it’s back legs with his front legs on the dog in front of him long enough to take a photo, AMAZING! But which one is Marsha? LOL!

Also, I wish people who say pit bulls are mean and dangerous would look at that duck pecking in the dog’s mouth. Dangerous indeed!

Finally, as much as I didn’t like the hamster with butterfly wings the other day, I love the cat/owl Photoshop, go figure.

    • Laura August 31, 2016 / 1:23 pm

And, oddly, while I loved the mouse/butterfly mashups the other day, I find these cat/owl mashups to be freaky and weird. Go figure! That’s what I love about the internet, though — there’s something for everyone. And frequently something for nobody, too….

I have a friend whose rescue pup is a published author and a dues-paying member in the Society of Newspaper Columnists. Seriously, he’s had several columns published, and has his own membership card in the organization and everything! Plus he’s a *seriously* cute little guy. Obviously, animal publishing has a longer history than I’d realized, judging by F.D.C. Willard!

Why am I feeling a sense of deja vu?

It’s wonderful to look at the links I find on this site, and discover additional websites to add to my list of places to check whenever I have time. Stacy’s Funny Farm looks like a place I’d love to visit – not just vicariously, but in person!

here’s an odd one from the net; a guy and his cat,a gal and her catfish?

    from sad and useless blog

Capy on a pool noodle. Now I’ve seen it all.

    Well, probably not, but still.

    • Faye August 31, 2016 / 9:29 pm

I agree. It’s one thing to see a Hamster Dog in a pool. It’s another to see him play with his own pool noodle. Amazing.

      Also loved the full immersion.

      Capybara dive made my day!

Not really the most elegant entry into the water, for that capybara, wasn’t it?
