Folks, send some good vibes Ricky’s way, will ya? He’s been having a tough few days; we’re off to the vet again shortly. (It’s hard to Age Gracefully when you’re a Tiny Old Dog, I guess.) Ricky doesn’t seem worried, but you can imagine how I feel. ?

Aw, I hope your little guy will be OK – so hard with aging pets. My cat is getting close to 19, we think (she was a foundling) and watching her behaviors now is sometimes so difficult – I think she has dementia of some sort. We’re here for you, Ricky’s Mom, just know that.

Ricky’s not eating, even though I know he’s hungry. So it’s very hard to get his meds down him, silly boo. He’s still pretty energetic, though. I’m calling the vet first thing this a.m. to see what I should do, if anything, today. Then I have to go get dental work done on myself, so this day should be … interesting. ?

Ricky’s mom, I can identify with worrying over an older pet. I had that last week with Pepper, my 11-1/2 yrs old precious bunneh. Hope Ricky gets to feeling better.
I’m not a big bouquet person, but a bunny bouquet, please send me some asap! The bun on the left, its’ ears look like they have sores, actually from the pic, all of the buns don’t look in the best of health, hope it’s just the way the photo appears.

So far much better, thanks. I was treating Pepper at home, for just a day, hoping to not having to go to the vet. Her digestive tract luckily got back on track.

Isn’t that scary? I had a rabbit die of stasis – it was SO horrible. AT that time the vets I saw didn’t seem to know about Critical Care – if I so much as suspect a problem I get a batch of that ready and get out the syringe. It can’t hurt them and it prevents so much pain and heartache.
Is the disapproval included or do you have to pay extra. Either way a Bunny Bouquet is worth it.

I was out for most of today at a friend’s for our annual “Red Party”. It’s supposed to be around Valentines Day but we couldn’t manage it this year. It’s an all female party and everyone is expected to wear red clothing and to bring red food. The extent to which some will go is awe inspiring and hysterically funny. This has been going on for close to 40 years, friends we’ve known forever, some new ones – a wonderful time was had by all.
