She looks nothing like Mary Catherine Gallagher.

Nope, it’s not Mary Catherine Gallagher. Look at her moves. It’s Cassie rehearsing:

Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch…Again!
Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch…Again!
Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch…Again!
Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch…Right!
    That connects with…
Turn, turn, out, in, jump, step,
Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch.
    Got it?… Going on. And…
Turn, turn, touch, down, back, step,
    Pivot, step, walk, walk, walk.

I only just today figured out that’s what he was saying at those parts of the song, haha. It’s a life changer knowing that! It just sounded like nonsense spasms before, which was understandable. I think that video deserves a posting, some people may not be aware of the awesomeness ๐Ÿ™‚

Debg, this is based on a video that’s been around for awhile on You-Tube and other similar sources:
a British guy sings to his white cat while she appears to be dancing….. “Cat, I’m a kitty-cat… and I dance, dance, dance, dance, dance…..”
the cat looks like she’s going thru different dance moves, and the guy sings lyrics like: “Purrvocative posing”, in a shaky voice…. it sounds weird but it’s really funny……!!!

Holy moly! That’s hilarious and really, really weird. Sounds like a cross between Iggy Pop, Johnny Rotten, and Falco. Now I will have that song stuck in my head all night.

Oh man… Now it’s stuck in my head! ๐Ÿ˜† Along with Mary Catherine Gallagher. Friday brain overload!

Reminds me of Robin Williams from The Birdcage – You do Fosse, Fosse, Fosse! You do Martha Graham, Martha Graham, Martha Graham! Or Twyla, Twyla, Twyla! Or Michael Kidd, Michael Kidd, Michael Kidd, Michael Kidd! Or Madonna, Madonna, Madonna!…

    • birdcage February 19, 2016 / 11:41 am
