Also known as the Medusa plant…
What a remarkable photo. Mike, your explanation makes perfect sense of it, and yes, I have been drinking the tea.
…and now everything’s all spirally! Whoa!
I think it was Dorothy Parker who said “You can lead a horticulture, but you can’t make her think.” Is that too racy for this site? I hope not. My Mom had a gardening apron with that quote on it.
I came up with that all by myself when I was young. I knew I couldn’t have been the only person to have thought of it – it seemed too obvious – but I didn’t know about the Dorothy Parker Connection.
love the Medusa plant – don’t look at it! Those gazelles or whatever they are used to be people.
Apparently there actually is such a thing…Euphorbia flanaganii – Medusa’s Head.
Allein, you are a marvel – you find the most amazing things. Very cool looking plant!
Some people take it more literally…
That’s terrific.
God love Dorothy Parker; that quote is making me grin and shake my head. 😀
If you want to burn someone, Dorothy Parker is the way to go! Somehow I have missed this particular quote until now…
Stay away from the brown tea folks.
I have astigmatism so I’m feeling swirly just looking at that picture.
