Sorry can’t play cards right now little bunny, my hand is being used as a pillow
“I claim this hand in the name of
DogCat.”Bunbun is adorable! And Gigi, I have a large not as fluffy kitty (but same coloring with the same perfectly outlined pencil eraser pink/red nose) who likes to do that to me when I’m trying to use my computer. They’re soooo helpful! 🙂
Stars just gets on my lap, forcing me to move the computer to the edge of my knees. Most of the time she doesn’t want much attention, but when I get settled on the couch with my laptop, especially when my parents (ok, let’s be real, my dad) are away, she wants all the cuddles. She says “you can use your hand but I’m not gonna make it easy!”
My parents are going away at the end of September for a couple weeks. I anticipate many nights of awkwardly trying to type while she shoves her head in my face.
You also might find yourself sending emails or posting comments like one email that I received a few minutes ago on a work thread, which said, and I quote, “AamfQ.zzzr..z..zte.aaff.” Something tells me that was perhaps sent by a four-legged family member? 😀
You’ll have to learn to improvise like I did this morning Allein, I held my iPad in my left hand and took the photo with my nose! ?
I’ll have to try to get a picture next time.
I’m going over there in a little bit, but I won’t have my computer. She’ll probably just hide in the bedroom, anyway.
My Dad calls this Heavy Head, when you HAVE to lay your head down on a willing arm.
Those back claws are going to rip off a good strip of skin if the phone/doorbell rings though.
Those are giant cards right? The bunny cannot be that tiny. ?
Totally cute.
OMG, resurrect the old classic game show “Card Sharks” (tewtoally dating myself) and just plop these shufflebuns everywhere. I would watch that.
I can’t keep an eye on the cards. I’m too busy making squeaky noises at the bunny!
I must politely ’nuff the handling of baby wild rabbits.Cute little bugger though.
Sorry, but that doesn’t look like a wild rabbit to me. It looks like a domestic baby. Wilds don’t have that color of coat. Theirs is a lighter color and it’s tipped, not solid. Don’t know how to attach a picture or I’d send one for comparison.
Thank you for providing that information.I see baby wild bunnies in my neighborhood often, but almost always only at night. It is amazing how tiny they are!
Here is a I made a mistake apology meatloaf baby.
? ?
I would be more disturbed but I’ve actually seen this meatloaf baby before.
Here’s one of the babies my brother found in his yard several years ago (while mowing the lawn!!). He looked up whether it was safe to touch them, took some pictures and then put them back and just kept an eye on them. Mom came back later. He didn’t mow that area again until they moved out.
And here’s mom.
Wow – amazing pix!
There was a bunny nibbling grass near my place this morning – somewhere between these two in size (young, but not a baby).
There were four of them, I think. Eyes still closed. I have a few more pics but they’re too big to upload. I might have to break down and get a Flickr account so I can link stuff here (especially once Mike changes the comment system and I can’t upload anymore).
Wonderful pics! My parents, in a Chicago suburb years ago, had a rabbit family move in and dig a hole right smack in the center of their back yard. My dad not only made sure to leave them an unmowed section, but also dug the snow away from their hole in winter so they could get out if they needed to. There’s nothing better than backyard buns! But he never took any pics, alas. 🙁
Your dad sounds like a keeper. Anybody who plays winter doorman to bunnies is a good one in my book.
I agree – bravo! (I picture him bringing them teeny mugs of hot cocoa…)
That’s a lovely mental image! 🙂 He’s been gone for some years now, but I suspect that’s something he definitely could have done. He had a soft spot for furry things a mile wide, although he would never admit to it. 🙂
Agree not a wild rabbit, the coat isn’t right, plus there’s no white stripe on the forehead. Plus, once wild buns are seen out of the nest hopping around, they are on their own. They are weened around 4 weeks and still look like babies, but are no longer cared for by mom. They may stay in the nest area for a while, though.
You is teeny and adorable and I is in wuv.
Cards? What cards? What are playing, again?
Dang, that has to be the cutest widdle morsel I have ever seen!
Forget the card game, I’d want to play with the bunneh. Besides, it would probably chew the cards and then they would be “marked”.
I’m not cheating! It was my tiny bunny! I swear!!
As I slowly descend into gambling addiction, I’ll proclaim it was all because of the baby bunnies.
This reminds me of the CO rule of cuteness along the lines of “…if something small makes you look smaller, it’s cute…..”
Yes!?
I would buy one of these as a paperweight.
And I have a paperless office!
That is SUCH a cute idea!
