I. Love. Mousies! Soooo cute. I wish I was tiny enough to hide in the pages of a book. ??

Micies are adorable. I worked in the bakery of an English restaurant and one Christmastime after hours I happened to pass by the window, all decorated for Christmas ( kind of rustically) and saw a wee mousie hiding behind an apple. I love that idea of wanting to be small and see the world from that vantage. Remember Steve Martin – “Let’s get small”?

I LOVE pet names that are bigger than the actual animal. “Beauregard”, indeed.

So nice to see some ratties, mousies, whatever. Haven’t seen any for awhile. Between the pages of a book is an interesting place to rest, trying to catch up on summer reading and fell asleep instead.

My brother in NY has a mouse (NOT a scary NY rat) that keeps hanging out in his apartment listening to him playing piano. Fortunately, he likes rodents and is only laying out live traps, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they just strike up a friendship instead.
hmm .. Which one is Pinkie and which is ‘The Brain’ ?
Pinky: Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?
The Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world.
Are those teeny little mouse teethies I see?

That’s adorable!
Do believe these are ratties! Haven’t seen any here in a while. Such cute little faces!?
What language is the book written in?
Russian, I think.
That was my first guess, but can’t see enough writing to be sure.
