And finally: Horsing Around in the Snow
Reader Holly says hello: “Portland, OR, received 6-12 inches of snow overnight. This little pony is making the best of it. I live in Eugene, two hours south, where I saw no tiny ponies playing in the snow that we received last week. The injustice!”
I wish I could have a teeny tiny kitty. 🙁
As a crazy cat lady I want Bijou so bad it hurts!
We’re supposed to get some snow tomorrow. Something tells me I will see no tiny ponies playing, either.
Probably won’t get much, anyway. If we do, I’ll be at my parents’ house. If we should get a lot of snow, the woman next door will have the guy down the street shovel their driveway and my parents will pay her back. If we don’t get enough to be worth that, the 11-year-old across the street will do it for 20 bucks. At least I can park in the garage.
Mailmen are suppose to be afraid of dogs aren’t they ? *Snickers*
He’s just trying to curry favor.
you two are making me hungry.
I’m eating breakfast right now. I have chocolate-cherry oatmeal and Irish Breakfast tea.
We had a FedEx man who trained our yellow lab to *love* delivery guys — he’s brought treats. After a while, our dog expected everyone to have treats and scared a few by running out to them in search of goodies. But Dan the FedEx man was his first love! Dan always ended up taking 20 minutes at our house, and I’m not sure who enjoyed it more, him or our dog. ?
I’m glad you mentioned Dan – I thought of him when I saw this!
So you can just put a tiny pony in your yard? I’ve got a substantial back yard–tiny pony ready!
Bijou the kitten is so adorable. I want her too.
Hold on a sec–I live in Portland, and our local fauna consists of dogs, cats, goats, more dogs, cooked salmon, and men with beards. Where are all the tiny horses?
I want to frolic in the snow with a tiny horse! Wah! Men with beards? Not so much – I’m a bit old for that.
Micro kitty placed immediately in brassiere. Yup! Mine.
