Azuki the Hedgehog is an Instagram star who goes on interesting adventures. Today, Azuki is on a camping trip that totally wasn’t sponsored by Coleman, nope.
Getting back to nature can be difficult for a dainty little hedgehog. You have to lug around your entire kitchen, and there’s no place to plug in the microwave!
But it’s worth all the effort to enjoy a meal in the open air, with the gentle breeze in your quills, the sounds of nature all around you, the mosquitoes nipping at your — OK, mostly worth it.
And after dinner, Azuki sits back and watches as night falls across the forest and notices that he’s too stuffed to get back up.

All that hedgehog-sized camping equipment makes this whole thing INSANELY kawaii!!
That’s about as cute as anything I’ve seen for a long time!! They got the perfect anipal for their ads. He seemed happy to just stay plopped wherever they put him. LOVE tiny replicas!!
Almost makes me want to go camping!
I just went recently… we could have used gear this nice! π
This is no longer camping, it’s glamping π
So cute with the hat XD
Adorabobble. Any idea what the “thick_skirt” reference is to? It shows up if you click on the pix, along with “coleman_japan.”
Google gave me nothing but fashion gossip about someone named Jenna Coleman.
Somehow I doubt that’s it. I tried “thick skirt” and found a lot of steaks, which also seems unlikely.
This is so cute!!! The tent is my favorite.
I want to know where they got this stuff???!!?!?!?!?
My Office Gnome needs the tent and stove and cooler and chair and, well, everything.
This may be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life!
What everyone else up-thread said!
But, where are the S’mores?
OMG! Can you just picture a hedgehog trying to clean S’more goop out of his quills? The mind boggles!
He wouldn’t need to find a stick for roasting the marshmallows!
?
S’mores” – a contraction of “Some More” because, apparently, you can’t eat just one, is a graham cracker sandwich with a toasted marshmallow and a square of Hershey’s chocolate as the filling. That’s the “traditional” way, but there are better brands of chocolate. Ive made themes ago while camping in the Girl Scouts but I never cared for them much – not a big fan of Graham Crackers – too sweet – (“Digestive Biscuits” some might call them, tho’ they’re much nicer and not so sweet).
My mom and I used to make them in the microwave with Hershey’s Special Dark chocolate bars and Peeps (bunnies work better than chicks because they’re flat). The sugar on the Peep melts just enough to give it a nice crunch.
His expression in the last photo…that’s a hedgehog who doesn’t have room for a single after-dinner mint!
I see what you did there!
Such an adorable hedgie.
The last photo has another photo if you click the arrow to the right. It has a little coleman raft & double-paddle in it. This pint-sized camping gear is so cute!!
Thanks, I would have missed it! And on his Instagram, he’s pretend-paddling the raft (on land).
What a flashback – we had that exact folding camp stove when I was growing up. Also the cooler, only in forest green and white.
I love his tiny firewood wagon – he’s such a happy camper!
This is… this… Are you kidding me? I just… *plonk*
I went for a walk and encountered a baby pug/jack russell mix who is the cutest thing and he knows it. All black with little white socks. I passed him twice and both times he saw me and parked himself in the middle of the road looking adorable. The second time I said hi. He tried to eat my headphones. I wanted to grab him up and run, but I have a feeling the big dude at the other end of his leash would have caught me pretty easily.
I just had to share. Carry on.
I’da gone for it. π
Omgosh. White socks! Run. Run fast. At least you would get to hold him for awhile.
Only just noticed “eat secretly during cooking.” Yup, I’m with Azuki on that one.
I think we all need a sky blue Coleman cooler.
