“So Steve asked me to tell you that he misses you and he’s up for a promotion at work and he’s looking forward to having dinners in person again. Oh, and that you look lovely with your hair like that. Anyway, he’s making pork chops with rice pilaf next time so you should make that too. Any messages for Steve?”

Love finds a way, Sharon H.
Who knew kitties were cupid in disguise?
I’m now hungry for that spaghetti, wine and some garlic bread. I’m so ready to get out and have a nice sit down meal, at some of my favorite, local restaurants. I hope to remain healthy (free of flu) but I know I’ve gained some weight, snacking is too easy.
Kitty doesn’t look pleased with the menu choice. Where’s the toona??
Aww so sweet, a tiny yenta to help the romance along. And kitty can come to my house if he doesn’t like the menu. I’m eating for breakfast a bagel with cream cheese and smoked wild alaskan salmon that I picked up at the farmer’s market last week.
I’m with you Luv Bunny, I miss my favorite restaurants and going out and meeting up with friends and walking the mall and, and, and …. Plus I’m trying very hard to stay in my usual routine and eat meals on my regular basis and not snack too much but is so easy since there’s not much else to do. I can’t even go for my usual morning neighborhood walk today unless I get out the monsoon gear. SoCal is having a absolutely downpour and it’s supposed to be this way for most of the day. There’s already been flooding, car accidents and mud/rock slides. What’s next, a plague of locusts or raining fire?
Frogs.
That doesn’t sound too bad.
Salmon and cream cheese bagel… drool
And I learned a new word. Yenta.
I’d go on a date with this cutie.
