Oh my grandma, what big teeth you have!!!

And talking about teeth, my foster puppy may look adorable but he’s actually just teeth wrapped with fur, a tiny teethorist. And I’ve become a foster mom fail, I talked with the Humane Society foster team that placed him with me and he’s going back this afternoon to find another foster home. He might be acting out because of his hurt foot plus him being in that puppy stage of all teething, all the time but I’ve realized he’s not a good fit in this household. Sigh, I figured out that me and puppies long term is not a good mix so I’m only going to foster cats and older dogs from now on. Puppies are adorable but oh so much work. Hope you find the perfect home for yourself and have a good life Harley!!

AJ, you did the responsible thing for the puppy and for yourself. Recognizing a bad fit and taking responsible steps to fix the situation is anything but a failure. Plus now you know what your limitations are, and that is also a good thing—it will ensure happier fostering from now on.

That puppy is a riot. I have some doubts about the future human wearability of those dentures. Good thing hooman could appreciate the funny side!

AJ, you made the right choice. Other critters will still need you.

Mom’s helpless laughter may have been the best part–it was certainly contagious.

This reminds me of the time me, my parents and my Greek grandmother (YaYa) went to visit her brother George at his place in Athens. Mind you, me and Mom spoke virtually no Greek and this conversation was all in Greek, translated by my dear Papa. Seems Uncle George couldn’t find his dentures and couldn’t remember where he might have left them. So all of us were enlisted to search for said teeth but no luck. Until YaYa went to sit down and she immediately jumped up laughing and saying something was biting her. Yep, finally found the dentures.
