Just stopping by to give a quick update on Beans, we got the results of the blood test last evening and it’s not diabetes it’s stage 2 kidney deceases, we are going this afternoon so the vet can take a urine sample to see if there is maybe an infection that can be treated and how much protein her kidney are eliminating and also to get some more medication to stimulate her appetite and get special food.
Kidney decease is not an immediate death sentence, Minnie who is also 15 like Beans was diagnose with kidney decease 3 years ago and she’s still going strong.
I hope the vet can find some effective treatments. Hugs to you and Beans.

I feel him on the humidity…I barely dried my hair this morning because it was just too humid, even with the AC on (storms last night and now all the water on the ground is evaporating). I wanna know what products he uses…

Oh the bunny video brought back so many precious memories of the buns I’ve loved through the years. May need to seriously start thinking about adopting one again. The kitty carrying its tail is so funny. I know dogs can do this but cats?
Georgiana, I hope Beans’ kidney disease is manageable and she/he has 8 more lives left. Seems to be a common ailment with older cats.
I find that I can totally relate to the cat carrying its own tail, but I can’t figure out why.
All bird owners in the building have their windows open, and all the birds are happily shrieking at each other. The cat owners in the building opposite have their windows open, and there are several cats with their faces smushed against the screens, hearing noms but not seeing them.
That cat cracked me up, looks like s/he’s taking their tail for a walk. What a goofball. Lots of sweetie pies today to get my day off to a good start. Sending good thoughts to Georgiana & Beans that the vet will find a good treatment plan.
I hope that the kitty’s ok and his tails not all owie, that’s a medical term.
Yeah, I’m THAT fur parent. I’ve been watching a patch on my kittens chest, think she just scratched herself and its not a tumor or weird feline ulcer. She is OVER me measuring/massaging it to see if its sore or growing.
