Love the beams of sunlight pouring down on Butch!😊
I miss the moment of zen..
This made me laugh because my dad’s family calls him Butch. (He is so not a Butch.)
Rainy Caturday here in New Jersey. Hope everyone is staying dry.
That is THE CUTEST Dachshund puppy! *grabby hands*
omg this is too cute and I had to share..
Butch is one handsome dude. Namaste Butch. OMG, that little morsel from we rate dogs, I’ll gladly do a Sir Walter Raleigh and put my coat down or provide any other assistance. That is one cool fruit platter, just not too sure about the googley eyes, I have a problem eating any food that’s watching me.
Going to be another warm day here in SoCal, upper 80s but thankfully it’s going to cool down starting on Monday. Errands, craft projects, and a Lego club meeting are the exciting stuff going on over here this weekend.
The eyes are candy, if it helps any. I’ve seen them in the baking aisle with the cake decorations.

My first thought was that Butch looked very handsome bathed in sun beams but then my nerd brain kicked in and I thought “Oh no! Those are tractor beams and he’s being abducted by alien!
Yesterday my husband, his sister and I went to get our flu and Covid vaccines, again this year they offered to give both at the same time for free so we did, I guess this will be a yearly thing from now on.
I’m with you AJ, I can’t eat food that’s looking at me like fish with the head still on.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
Butch looks beautiful. Stunning photo altogether.
I think he really is communing with nature
Happy Caturday all – hope you also are enjoying a zenful day. Allein, the sun came out about half an hour ago here in Philly – so maybe you’ll get a sunny day after all. That little puppy is just too cute!
I’m about to get out of bed (finally) after taking the morning to finish knitting a potholder for a friends’ housewarming gift. I will let the boys outside to enjoy the sunshine, and will decide how to proceed with my day.
Hourly forecast says clouds and wind for the rest of the day, no sun but only 15% chance of rain. Sun tomorrow.
Butch, you handsome boy, you.
Chilly, sunny/cloudy day in Duckieville.
Brunch with friend whose dad’s journal I transcribed (is that grammatically correct?)
Next week is dentist, flu/Covid shots and a funeral.
Have a good weekend, everyone.
Oh Butch,
Such a glorious moment. Either a moment of zen or his brain is rebooting, never know with cats.
I need a moment of zen, got riffed yesterday but at least its beautiful today.
It’s been a wet and windy couple of days in York but we’ve escaped the worst of Storm Babet – I’ve seen a few videos of rough seas at Whitby and Scarborough just a few weeks after I was enjoying a sedate paddle in freakishly warm weather!
A funny incident earlier this week: I’d just finished filling the deep holes in the backyard wall exposed by the removal of the old gateposts. As I was quietly admiring my handiwork, something slammed against the five foot high gate and a pair of grey feline paws appeared over the top. Anxious to get a glimpse of the would-be intruder I opened the gate, but he or she had vanished without a trace.
Just noticed: the thin blade of grass right beside Butch’s mouth makes him look like he is disappointed with every single life choice I have ever made, am making now, and ever will make.
Butch looks so contented and happy. And handsome!
I’m late to commenting–read everybody else’s posts but didn’t feel like typing on an iPad. Lots of errands and chores today. Tomorrow I can stay home to weave, knit, and spin.
