Links: Odds Bodkins! Forsooth! Meow!

Accidental Renaissance cats, mermaid dog finds a home, cow breaks into home, baby gorilla, and more.

And finally: The Dawn of Dog

Swell, not only are they evolving, but they’re teaming up. (via Andrew Y.)

Sealy and Harveigh are adorable together!

This is my favourite of the Renaissance cats.

It’s fantastic. Not actually Renaissance, but I’ll let that slide. This time.

That caramelized labrador is wonderful, but also a problem lol. Even if that whole thing was a trick, that dog is smart enough to get into allllll kinds of trouble. Cat, too.

Best of luck to the humans.

I love how they’re all “thinking nothing could go wrong”…guy is either an eternal optimist or an idiot. 🤣

Eternal optimist and idiot often occupy the same space in a Venn diagram.

Love those two furry friends so very much.

wasn’t this a pandemic challenge? Recreating renaissance and other paintings?

my only pandemic achievement was not putting on the pandemic ten pounds

If it was a challenge, it produced some hilarious results! I still buy the postcards from an artist who re-created famous paintings with her border collie. They get laughs every time.

Maybe the guy on the left was licking the cat!

Harveigh sproinging around made my heart so happy. RIP, dear one. Sealy will always love you, just like the rest of us.
