Now, I won’t lie to you, there was some luck involved. Normally, I can run down a standard coupe or minivan from a standing start, ’cause they don’t accelerate for squat. But supercharged street machines like this baby here are a whole different bag o’kibble; I don’t care how fast you run, you ain’t catching ’em. But I saw this one doing donuts on the lawn down the block before the driver passed out drunk, so I dragged it on back and added it to my collection.
Via Imgur.
All these imgur posts blocked at my office – sigh.
Thanks for telling me this. I updated the post and you may be able to see the picture now.
I CAN SEE! I CAN SEE!!!!!
No work gettin’ done today!!
Re the hover text: I bet he does keep the driver in a kennel out back but it’s this puppeh I’d like to meet.
My first thought was that it looked like Jeremy Clarkson in a scene from the old Top Gear, doggy has the same smug look on his face. LOL!!
Speaking of serious dogs…
Man needs some socialization training and a lease with matching muzzle.
I’m doing donuts today. Dunkin’ donuts. (My boss brought them in as a thank you for some tedious work we’ve been doing all week.) I will share with doggeh if he likes.
On a side note, Mike, the current comment subscription system is easier to manage, too. I thought I had unsubscribed from some older posts (that no one’s commenting on anymore) before you changed it back, but I just confirmed a new one and looked through the list; the older ones were still there (but now I have unfollowed them).
I appreciate hearing that. The other system had lots of buttons to push, and while that speaks to me on a certain level, what we all need is a simple system that works.
Yeah, I like this system. You just get a list of posts you’re subscribed to, and just check the ones you want and tell it what to do with them. Also, the emails it sends are easier to read. In the other system, everything in the email was in the same font. This one tells you specifically what it’s in reply to, as well. Much less confusing and I don’t have to come back to the post to see what someone’s referring to. 🙂
I was having the same trouble as Birdcage re Imgur but it seems resolved now. Thanks! And the hovertext on this one is parfait! Well done.
That’s the perfect way to deal with drunk drivers – firm but humane, and the rest of us are safe! McGruff looks awfully pleased with himself.
Who’s a good boy? Who’s done a good job? Who’s so proud of himself? Scritchie whichie under your chin. Mmmmmmmm good boy.
doggy is so proud!!!
Are we seeing the beginning of a wink on that doggerson?
He is clearly saying “Suck it, Hoff, I have KITT now!” 😀
So now that I mentioned the Hoff, please enjoy:
?
I know the Hoff is (or was) HUGE in Germany. Proves the Germans have got a great sense of humor.
BTW, it troubles me deeply that you were aware of the existence of this video. I am concerned for your well-being. And now I’ve got that f$#@ing song stuck in my head for the rest of the night.
This has got to be the most bizzare song video I’ve ever seen!! I can’t even imagine the creative director’s meeting that resulted in this juxtaposition of images and lyrics!! ?
That’s one smug doggie there! Hmmm, that jaw reminds me of Mussolini and another modern politician… *snicker*
OK, I’m evil. Hope Doggie does not take offence – wouldn’t want to join the car driver in the back! 😀
He says “Hmph – I have better manners, and my fur is much nicer! But I’ll let it go ’cause I’m a gentlepooch.” 😀
That pup is WAAAYYY cuter than any politician out there. (Although the latter make great chew toys. Goooood doggie.)
The picture and the story go so well together. Another NTMTOM success!
