I’m not very good at fish expressions, but that little puffer seemed quite happy.
Hard not to anthropomorphize isn’t it?? I was thinking he was awfully curious for a
fish–totally happy and relaxed.
How about an anti-smoking campaign starring a puffer fish who’s gone clean? Call it Not That Puffer, The Former Puffer.

I love the twirling motion of his little side fins.
Re twirling fins, me too. My trippy imagination thinks when faeries get their backs scratched their wings do a similar motion.

I’ve gave scritches to a lot of things : dogs, cats, hamsters, ponies, wolves, buffalos, lizards, rats but never a puffer fish, I will have to remedy that as soon as possible.
This reminds me of an old picture from my family album. It was my uncle on a night dive, holding up one of these guys that had puffed up. Probably one of my favorite pics.
This reminds me a little of the eel-hugger, though Puffster is way cuter than Honey the huge moray.

In Japan I was repeatedly offered fugu as a delicacy, but I declined being unwilling to risk my life: I’ll take the salmon, thank you!! And now that I see how cute the puffer is, I’m doubly glad I did not partake. 🙂
