“No, I didn’t get into your flour. If I look different today, that’s just because… ah… OK, I didn’t want to tell you this so soon, but… I’ve been dying my hair. I’m not a natural black. And for years I was really self-conscious about looking older. Would younger dogs play with me? Would I face job discrimination? But lately I’m more like ‘Just be yourself. What do you have to prove?’ and so I’m starting to let it grow out its natural color. What do you think?”

Okay, as someone who turned grey in her 20s, I found this hilarious. At the ripe old age of 50, with all-white hair, I think I’ll be able to pass for the senior citizen discount in a year or so.
Oh, and the linky back to “I Feel a Psalm Coming On” brought back hysterically funny memories. Everybody at work is wondering why I’m laughing so hard.
Brilliant. I’m glad you mentioned it, prompting me to take another look. I’m not sure when I joined this whacky crew – it was when CO stopped – true for many of you it would seem. I do see quite a few posts that I missed and love to catch up on them.
I’m amazed at the tidiness of the mess!
I think the lighter colour will bring out your eyes!
Such a cutie!
