This baby beaver was lost and alone on a golf course near Calgary, so the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation rescued him and gave him a bath, which is where he discovered he could boop his own nose with his tail!
Thanks to sender-inners Andrew Y. and Douglas L.
Oh my goodness!! He actually looks like he is sucking his thumb (if he had one) at one point. How cute!!
That is beyond adorable – those little hands as he grooms himself in that uncoordinated baby sort of way. And the tail, well, quel surprise! Boop!
Coordination. Not an innate skill is it?
So happy this little guy has a good chance now
Aaawwww, too cute. This leetle bebeh doesn’t have his/her mommee to tell him that he would have better balance if the tail was behind him, not sitting on it. Loved his leetle paws washing his cute face. Glad he was rescued.
Hey, get a hold of that thing!
Is that adorable or what!
Would love to touch him.
No touchy da fuzzy.
Ha ha ha!!!
But wanna touch da fuzzy…
You no touchy da fuzzy. You also no get into cahoots with Faye to touchy da fuzzy.
Cahoots! Isn’t that some kind of cat owl hybrid. Get it CaHoots. (Couldn’t help myself).
I waz share the fuzz.
I have had the pleasure of petting a live adult beaver. Soooooooo soft. But an animal worthy of a lot of our respect: vicious, territorial, big and strong!!!! Wonder how this little tyke got away from the den.
I saw in another article about him that they think he may have been dropped by a predator because there are no beaver-supporting bodies of water near the golf course where he was found. Poor little guy!
He is ADORABLE.
What a cutie pie! We sure could not have chosen a cuter national animal to represent Canada.
Not to mention that your Prime Minister is a cutie pie also! (With all due respect and admiration for his position, policies, accomplishments, etc., etc., But let’s face it, Mr. Trudeau IS quite easy on the eyes…)
Oh, yeah.☺️
Yes he is and he was a very cute kid too, I remember him when he came with his father the then Prime minister Pierre Eliot Trudeau to the sugar shack where I was working. He must of been around 4 years old at the time, he was very well behave and smiled at everyone.
Frankly my dear, I don’t give a…oh wait…
That’s bound to happen when your bottom is likely so round and blorpy – no stability. You just roll around like a Weeble.
It’s cute when you say that about an animal, but if someone said that to me, I’d take offence. (Even if it was true.)
Hey! I resemble that remark. ?
Is true of me. *sigh*
I’m laughing! This is funny! a WEEBLE! How very descriptive.
Another blank area where the video should be.Was able to see it through the link.
At least this site is a lot less buggy than it was.
