Little mule needs a little more kicking practice…
“I meant to do that.”
Reminds of of those incredibly lithe and impossibly tiny gymnasts who don’t always stick their landing.
There should have been some disgustingly juicy grubs in with those balls.
I know, the meerkats look so confused.
“This usually doesn’t happen when we burrow…”
Aawww, the baby mule is adorable and showing off its’ cute antics. Still needs to grow into its’ legs.
I love the way mom just looks up from her meal when the little guy falls. She’s waiting to see if he’s hurt but when he does she just goes back to eating.
And the meerkats in the ball pit are just too cute
The little mule is certainly the perfect example of the origin of the phrase “kicking up one’s heels,” isn’t it?
And while I appreciate that people in the U.S. obviously need far, FAR more kawaii in our lives — is there even such a think as too much kawaii? — I’m not sure standing in line for 5 hours to buy some kawaii snacks at the Hello Kitty store is the best way to satisfy this craving. Surely we could come up with our own US-based kawaii-ness rather than having to import from the Japanese? Buy American! 🙂
(Okay, maybe I’ve been paying too much attention to politics recently…)
Dancing mule mishap: I was reminded of the great Svetlana Zakharova falling flat on her face in a recent cinema broadcast of Giselle…
I liked the story I read about in the program when I went to see Tosca. The Diva who once played the part was such a Diva that, at the end when she takes a dive (oooh, I made a funny) off of the wall, someone conspired to provide her with a trampoline and she inadvertently took many curtain calls.
Sprinkles! I thought that pandemic would have been eradicated by now! And here it is on Hello Kitty cakes – agh!!! It’s spreading like…???
We call ’em jimmies – at least the chocolate ones – I was well into adulthood before I heard “sprinkles”.
Me too. Jimmies. Sprinkles = rain showers.
Someone needs to put the mule dance to music! Adorable!
And who woulda thunk–a ball pit for meerkats, huh? Looks like they are enthralled and not taking the “guard” position seriously! (One meerkat always stands as lookout while the others eat, play, whatever.)?
Baby Mule is all:
